Classes

little masters
ages 4-7

Karate lessons for our youngest martial artists! Children ages 4-7 are taught the fundamentals of karate with an emphasis on learning to love the sport while gaining practical skills they can use in real life. Drills challenge these young ones to expand their focus, follow directions, improve their coordination and pursue goals.

YOuth ages 8-12

As children grow, their confidence and ability to master
their practice increases. Our youth classes are a dynamic combination of challenge and fun as students are mentored from beginning skills through early black belt curriculum. At Savage National Karate, classes are divided by belt level and encourage students to keep striving to be the best they can be.

Adult and teen

No matter what the age, the benefits of increased physical conditioning and flexibility gained through martial arts contribute to overall health and wellness. It’s never too late to start! Unlike many sports, karate allows each student to challenge themselves at their own level, progressing and developing their skills at a rate that makes sense for them and their body.

sparring

At green belt and above, students are encouraged to add sparring classes to their routine. Included as part of a basic contract, sparring allows students to put their practical skills to use in a safe, fun, and competitive atmosphere. At National Karate, students practice both free sparring and point sparring with light controlled contact focusing on quick reactions, controlling the ring, setting up points, evading, and countering.

All beginner classes offered three times per week for 30 minutes. Check our our schedule for current class times.
